I started volunteering at Swindon and Wiltshire Pride in February 2026. I became a regular face at the Pride Hub, located in the Brunel Shopping Centre in Swindon - either where I was working as a volunteer or socialising with people in my local community. In May, I applied to join Swindon and Wiltshire Pride's Committee, and was brought in as their Secretary. As a committee member of the Charity, I help carry out administrative tasks that help keep the charity running, as well as attending fundraising and educational events. I have given educational talks and support information in Schools, Prison, and Businesses around Wiltshire. |

In March, I joined the team to welcome South Swindon MP Heidi Alexander to the Pride Hub, to see how our Pride Hub has changed over the last year, and what we are doing to support our local community. We were really excited to talk about our plans for Pride in 2026. |

In April 2026 I joined the team to help carry out some maintenance on our Rainbow Walk outside the Wyvern Theatre in Swindon. 2026 marks the 8th year of the Rainbow Walk, and we spent the day cleaning the stairs, and giving them a fresh lick of paint |

| In May 2026, we welcomed Heidi Alexander back to the Pride Hub, where we were presented with a generous grant from the Morrisons Foundation of £1,750. The money given by Morrisions is being used by the Charity to help refurbish the Pride Hub with new furniture, flooring and accessible gender-neutral toilets. | |

In June 2026, I helped raise £115 by taking part in a virtual challenge to walk 149 miles around Wiltshire Landmarks. Unfortunately due to a busy Pride-Month of events, and dangerously hot weather, I was only able to complete 69 miles of the full challenge. |

In July, we helped celebrate the first anniversary of the Pride Hub moving into the Brunel Shopping Centre from the Regent Circus development. The central location has made the Pride Hub more accessible than ever before. |
