Childhood

I started life on the 3 May 1994, growing up in the riverside town of Maidenhead in the United Kingdom.

As a young child, I started off my journey in the education system at Highfield School in Maidenhead where I attended kindergarten.

Following on from kindergarten, I moved on to begin my formal education at Ridgeway School in Maidenhead where I stayed from reception, up until the end of Year 6.

During my time in primary school, I began to learn Latin, though I cannot remember much of the Latin that I learnt.

In my final year of school at Ridgeway, I appeared on the BBC Children's TV Programme Blue Peter when presenter Simon Thomas visited my school to present me with a Blue Peter Badge!

I continued my education at Claires Court Senior School in Maidenhead.

Whilst at Claires Court, I began to take an interest in Political Processes and Media. I worked with the heads of the school on a number of interesting projects, which included establishing a rudimentary Student Council / Think Tank, and saw the school get involved in BBC School Report.

As part of the school's participation in BBC School Report, the BBC Local Radio Station (BBC Radio Berkshire) came to the school to hold a live Outside Broadcast as part of BBC School Report Day.

With my interest in Media, the school helped encourage my interest by additionally hosting a short film/camera woskshop day for students.

I was never the biggest sportsperson at school, and at secondary school, opted to explore watersports, by spending several years at the school's sailing club at Summerleaze Lake and later beciming a coxswain in the school's rowing club.

I continued my eduction into Sixth-Form at Claires Court where I studied for my A-Levels which included me exploring more vocational subjects such as Photography and Media-Studies.

Whilst at Sixth Form I also participated in the Young Enterprise Project with my fellow students where we experimented with setting up and running a business.

As part of the business projects we ran at school, this included selling party hats and taking/photos of the school's parent/teacher Barn Dance, and selling printed cuddly toys at a Young Enterprise Pop-up market in Windsor in 2011.
