I joined Hannah Phillips team in 2025, not too long after meeting Hannah and her Production Team at Southampton Pride.
Since I joined Hannah's team, I have helped her work on her YouTube videos, supporting her with photography at public events, and working as a moderator on YouTube and Discord.
One of the first big projects I worked with Hannah on was a short film we produced for Transgender Day of Rememberance 2025.
During the planning process for producing writing the film our team discussed about significant events that involved the untimely losses of members of our Transgender Community.
One event that had a significant impact on me during 2025 was the loss of 17 year-old Portland teenager Charlotte Fosgate who ended her own life after being subjected to transphobic bullying online.
We loosely based our story over the last known words and actions Charlotte made - a tweet with a photograph of the midnight sky taken from a bridge captioned:
"its a pretty view "
followed by the harrowing words:
"long way down"
During the production process, I helped with camera work at many of the location and studio shots seen in the film, as well as assisting in prop design/selection.
